Mudumu National Park is one of Namibia’s remote parks, and richly rewarding for adventurous visitors. The guided safari drive in 4 x 4 vehicles leads to the riverine habitat of the Kwando River, home to a large elephant population. The park acts as a corridor for these giants as they migrate between Botswana, Zambia, Angola and Zimbabwe. Zebras, various species of antelope, buffalos and hippos have also found a haven in this protected area.
