Lankester Botanical Garden, located near Cartago in Costa Rica, is a botanical garden and research centre managed by the University of Costa Rica. Visitors can walk along peaceful paths, observe tropical plants, and admire extensive orchid collections. Established in the 1940s by British naturalist Charles H Lankester, it has become an important centre for conservation and scientific study, particularly of orchids, across Central America and the Caribbean.
