Nambung National Park is located about 17 km to the south of the small town of Cervantes in Western Australia. The park protects the incredible Pinnacles Desert with its thousands of limestone pillars, some of which are up to 3.5m tall as well as beautiful Kangaroo Island with its idyllic beach and great fishing, and Hangover Beach which is very popular for snorkelling, swimming, and surfing. However, these are not the only attractions and visitors can also walk along the boardwalk at Lake Thetis to wonder at its fascinating thrombolites or enjoy the spectacle of wildflowers which cover the park from August to October each year. There is no accommodation within the park but the town of Cervantes offers a full range of accommodation and other services.
