The spectacular Mutitjulu Waterhole is located at the base of Uluru in Australia's Northern Territory. It is accessed via a short 1 km walk which leaves from the Kuniya carpark. It is believed that the waterhole is the home of a Wanampi, an ancestral watersnake.

During the rainy season visitors can experience the magical waterfalls which appear, while in the warmer months birdwatchers may spot nesting black-breasted buzzards or tawny frogmouths as well as finches and nankeen kestrels
