Mossman Gorge, located in the southern part of the World Heritage Listed, Daintree National Park, contains the oldest continuously surviving rainforest on earth. Just one hectare of the forest can contain over 30,000 species of plants and animals.

The gorge is one of a few places in Australia where visitors can gain an insight into the lives, culture and beliefs of Australia’s Indigenous population and their connection to the natural environment.

The Mossman Gorge Centre provides a shuttle bus service that takes visitors to the heart of the gorge, or visitors can join a guided Dreamtime Walk tour through the gorge.
