Situated in the Cotswolds, the town of Tetbury has remained the same since the 16th and 17th century at the height of its prosperity as a wool town. The town is well situated as a centre for touring the Cotswolds, as it is within close driving range of towns such as Cirencester, Malmesbury, and Bath. Famous buildings, such as Rodmarton Manor, Highgrove House, and the Elizabethan House at Chavenage draw thousands of visitors each year. The town has much to offer with its wonderful range of antique shops, bars, restaurants, and pubs, as well as the marketplace which is still a focal point of Tetbury, hosting farmers markets and other events.
