Located on the sun-drenched north-west coast of Mauritius, Mauricia, a 4-star Beachcomber resort, is cosmopolitan and relaxed, simple yet cosy. Comfort and simplicity take centre stage. The architecture is a departure from the traditional Mediterranean style. All has been done to provide sweeping views of the bay from the public areas. The resort is within walking distance of the lively village of Grand Bay, one of Mauritius’ main tourists’ hubs, providing guests with a choice of restaurants, bars, discotheques and boutiques during their holiday in Mauritius. Mauricia also features a Moroccan-themed spa. Evoking a serene oasis, it has cabins designed to resemble nomadic tents, cleverly designed around a shaded pool. A range of land and water sports is on hand. Mauricia is interchangeable with sister resorts Canonnier and Victoria both a short distance away.
Standard Rooms are located on the first and second floors of the accommodation wings, to the rear of the public areas, and have showers only. Beachfront Standard Rooms are closer to the bay.
Superior Rooms are found on the ground floor of the accommodation wings located to the rear of the public areas. Superior Beachfront Rooms are located closer to the sea.
Apartments consist of two bedrooms and two bathrooms and are located in the gardens of the resort.
The loft is located in the main building and overlooks the pool and bay beyond. Bedrooms are on separate levels with en-suite bathrooms offering showers only.
The Suites are located on the top floor and offer a bedroom with en-suite bathroom plus a separate lounge. Outdoor amenities include a deck with sun loungers, outdoor shower and plunge pool.
The Villa consists of two bedrooms, each with en-suite bathroom facilities. A lounge separates the bedrooms and a patio area leads off the lounge into a private garden with splash pool.
