Lage:
Sehr gepflegte, ruhige und weitläufige Anlage am feinen Shanzu-Sandstrand, ca. 22 km nördlich von Mombasa in einer malerisch tropischen Gartenanlage gelegen. Das Hotel wurde architektonisch sehr reizvoll im Stil eines Swahili-Dorfes, wie sie im 13. Jahrhundert erbaut wurden, gestaltet. Weitere Geschäfte und sonstige Dienstleistungsunternehmen befinden sich nahe dem Hotel.
Ausstattung:
Weitläufiger, liebevoll angelegter Palmengarten mit Swimmingpool, Poolbar und Sonnenterrasse (Liegen, Auflagen und Handtücher ohne Aufpreis). Die Anlage verfügt über 3 behaglich ausgestattete Restaurants, 3 Bars, Eiscafé, Pizzeria, Boutique, ein Business-Center und einen Fitness-Raum.
Unterhaltung wird geboten durch ein hoteleigenes Animationsprogramm und mehrmals wöchentlich veranstaltete Tanz- und Folkloreabende. 2007 wurde das im marokkanischen Stil erbaute Maisha Spa eröffnet.

Die 114 teilweise neu renovierten Village Zimmer sind im Lamu-Stil eingerichtet mit Dusche und Bad, WC, Sat.-TV, Fön, Safe, Minibar, Klimaanlage, Telefon, Kaffee- und Teezubereiter, Balkon oder Terrasse.
Die 50 Garten Zimmer haben die gleiche Ausstattung, jedoch ein größeres Badezimmer. Der Blick vom Balkon oder der Terrasse reicht über den exotischen Tropengarten bis hin zum Meer. Wireless Internet Zugang in allen Zimmern.

Located in the garden wing of the hotel, the 48 Garden Rooms are surrounded by lawns as well as palm trees and look down across the grounds to the sea. Decorated in cool sea blue and white, each spacious room has either two twin beds or a Queen bed. Double doors open onto either a private balcony or a terrace with direct access to the grounds.

The 35 Superior Rooms are designed in Swahili-style with traditional niches, fretwork cabinets and brightly coloured coastal cotton soft furnishings in either red, white and yellow or cool blue. Each of the Family Rooms, two of which are sea view rooms, have a common entrance corridor leading to two separate rooms – one for the children and the other for parents. The children’s room has its own bathroom, twin beds, a digital multi-channel TV and a mini bar (that can be emptied upon request).
Accessed by a short corridor, the adult's room is appointed with a King bed and a twin bathroom that can accommodate two guests at once. The room also features a spacious balcony with access to the children's room.

The resort’s 2 Luxury Suites - Shella and Tundwa, are duplexes located on the first floor of the garden wing. Guests enter through a patio that leads to a sitting room, which then opens up to the bedroom. The spacious bathroom features a bathtub and a massage shower. Plus, the patio has a guest bathroom and a staircase leading to a sitting room and a private sun terrace. The Suites have a garden view, with a private terrace consisting of two sun beds, umbrella and private shower.

Authentic brick pizza oven with a stone and wood fire. We have a variety of fresh toppings including vegetarian, meat and seafood. The pizzeria is next to the fish pond overlooking a huge blossoming bougainvillea and coconut palms fringe from a distance, with weaver birds occasionally visiting.
