This flexible tour will allow you to explore Cape Town and the surrounding area in style with a private vehicle and guide. You can tailor the tour to suit your interests and your guide will discuss a plan with you on the day, but suggested locations are the Cape Point & Peninsular and Boulders Beach which is home to a large Penguin colony.
Take in the beaches of Clifton and Camps Bay, before crossing over to Hout Bay, where you may choose to join an optional boat cruise to Seal Island. From here you drive to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve via Chapman’s Peak, one of the world’s most breath-taking coastal drives, where you will board a funicular to get to the top of the Peninsula to witness the symbolic meeting of the Indian and Atlantic Oceans and enjoy spectacular views over False Bay. There is also a lovely restaurant/café at the top with amazing views over the ocean where you can stop for lunch.
After lunch (for your own account), continue to Simonstown, the naval base, and visit the African Penguin breeding colony at Boulders Beach (an opportunity to visit one of the most unique places in the world - a penguin colony in suburban Cape Town!) Then stop at the world-renowned Kirstenbosch Gardens if you wish.
