These world-renowned lines are one of the mysteries of history. They were drawn over 1500 years ago and are no more than 30cm deep.

The land around them is reddish and blackish and turns violet at night.

The lines are complex and well-designed depict inter alia human and animal forms. They stretch over 500km.
