Set in the City of Westminster next to Big Ben, the Westminster Abbey has a history that dates back over a thousand years, being the traditional place of coronation and burial site for kings, queens, statesmen, heroes, soldiers, poets, and priests. Guided tours of the Abbey are available for individuals and family groups, lasting approximately 90 minutes and includes the Lady Chapel, the Royal Tombs, and a tour of the Shrine. Open days are from Monday to Saturday. On Wednesdays, after-hours visitors can do a self-guided tour and enjoy a dinner at the Cellarium Café and Terrace.
