The Spanish Steps are a set of 138 steps, in Rome, Italy, between the Piazza di Spagna at the bottom and the Trinità dei Monti church at the top. The steps lie to the east of the old city centre. At the bottom of the steps there are plenty of designer shops as well as an open area to relax and take in the Roman atmosphere. Every year in May, the steps are adorned with pink azaleas, creating an even more beautiful setting.
