Montagne des Français, also known as Ambohitrantsingy, is a protected reserve near Antsiranana in northern Madagascar. At this attraction, visitors can hike limestone karst formations, explore dry deciduous forests, and enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding bay. Activities include trekking through lush vegetation, birdwatching, and discovering rare endemic plants such as the baobab Adansonia suarezensis and aloe aloe suarezensis. Notably, the reserve is part of the ramena protected area complex and shelters diverse wildlife, including endemic reptiles and birds.
