Nestled high in the rainforest canopy and overlooking the onsite lily pad-strewn lagoon and Julaymba Restaurant, the five Lagoon Bayans are ideal for guests wishing to explore and discover the beauty and diversity of the region by day. Relax amongst the muted colours and natural tones whilst enjoying the soft, dappled sunlight that shines through the private screened balcony.
As the name suggests the Canopy Bayans are situated high in the canopy and enjoy uninterrupted views of the rainforest. This treehouse-style accommodation features a spacious bedroom and a screened balcony with daybed to relax and take in the natural surrounds. Access via stairs.
Located on ground level, the Rainforest Bayans are our ultimate rainforest experience. Private and rejuvenating, featuring a fully enclosed balcony with bath the spacious rooms are complete with locally sourced natural timber furniture for a luxury, close to nature stay. The region has some beautiful landmarks that are a must see during your stay whether you wish to simply explore in the comfort of your own car at your own pace, take a tour of the areas surrounding the lodge or try your luck at some of the more adventurous activities available. We have listed the top places to visit and experiences to ensure you get the most out of your visit. There is sure to be an adventure for everyone.
Whilst there are many things to see and do in the Daintree Village, a lot of the experiences are a short drive from the Ecolodge. It is recommended to have your own car however, our staff can arrange tours which pick up and drop off to the property if that is your preferred way to travel and explore.
