The Massif of Brandberg, also known as the 'Fire Mountain', is located in northwestern Namibia. It proudly stands as the highest peak in the country, with its majestic Königstein (King's Stone) reaching an impressive altitude of 2573 meters above sea level. Renowned for its stunning sunset hues of orange, this remarkable mountain is undoubtedly the main attraction of the region. For centuries, the San people have held the Brandberg sacred, and its significance is evident in the Tsisab Ravine, adorned with over 45,000 ancient San rock paintings, including the renowned 'White Lady' artwork, believed to be more than 2000 years old. Visitors are drawn to this area not only for its historical treasures but also for its unspoiled natural beauty and the opportunity to encounter diverse wildlife such as mountain zebras, kudus, springboks, and desert elephants.
