Operating from the Zambezi National Park, on both sides of the border, Lion Encounter is responsible for orchestrating the first phase of a rehabilitation programme that aims to release lions back into the wild. At the same time, Lion Encounter offers visitors the unique opportunity to interact, play and walk alongside lions in their natural environment as they learn to hunt and fend for themselves.
