Located in Myinkaba Village, Myanmar, Gubyaukgyi Temple was built by Prince Yazakumar in the early 12th century. The temple is a highly popular tourist destination for its fascinating and original frescos. The temple has multiple windows which allow natural light in to show visitors the real beauty of these paintings. Architecturally, the temple is designed in a traditional Indian and Bengali style. Visitors can enjoy exploring this historical wonder; however, no photographs are permitted inside the temple for the frescos to remain intact for future generations to enjoy.
