The approximate 30,5 hectares of wooded landscape of the Nairobi Arboretum is located in the Kilimani area, approximately 3 km away from city center. Featuring shaded walkways, picnic lawns and jogging trails, it is one of few remaining green spaces in Nairobi. The Arboretum is home to over 350 species of indigenous and exotic plants, as well as more than 100 species of birds, and a significant population of monkeys.
