Part of the iconic Route 62, Cogmans Kloof is a spectacular mountain pass named after the Cogmans, an ancient Khoi chiefdom that once thrived in the area. Constructed by Thomas Bain between 1873 and 1877, this enchanting pass traces the path of the Kingna River, flowing southwest of Montagu. Travellers are treated to awe-inspiring vistas of the surrounding landscape as they traverse the well-maintained road connecting Montagu and Ashton.
