Located in Old City in Baku, Azerbaijan, the Maiden Tower is a 12th-century monument listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The tower is one of Azerbaijan's most remarkable national emblems and it’s featured on official letterheads and Azeri currency notes. It reaches 97 feet and for a fee, visitors can climb to the top to view the stunning surroundings. Inside the tower, there is a gift shop as well as a museum dedicated to the history of Baku.
