Tamaki Cultural Evening & Dinner is a 3-and-a-half cultural experience showcasing the Maori culture. Upon arrival, visitors are greeted with an ancient ceremony of welcomes before visitors are allowed to enter the traditional Maori village. Set in a 200-year forest, visitors can immerse into the Maori way of life by participating in warrior training, poi dancing, learning the haka, a Maori war dance, and enjoying arts, wood carvings, and facial tattooing. A powerful song and dance are performed in the village's meeting house before visitors enjoy a traditional Hangi meal. Included in this experience is free transport to and from visitor's Rotorua accommodation.
