Shinde is located on a lush palm island in the northern Okavango Delta in Botswana, on the edge of the Shinde Lagoon. Nearby, the private concession offers a mix of permanent waterways and dry areas that support diverse wildlife, birdlife, and species such as sitatunga and leopard. Guest tents feature a large bedroom, en-suite bathroom, indoor shower, outdoor shower, and ceiling fan. The camp features indoor and outdoor dining areas within its main “treehouse style” lodge overlooking the lagoon. Facilities include a swimming pool, lounge areas, and a range of land and water-based safari activities.
Families are accommodated in a custom-built family tent designed to sleep up to five guests. The tent features two bedrooms connected by a shared en-suite bathroom, making it ideal for families or small groups travelling together. Guests enjoy the same comfortable safari setting and access to the camp’s facilities, while benefiting from additional space and privacy suited to family stays in the Okavango Delta.
Shinde offers seven spacious en-suite tents, each designed to provide a comfortable safari experience overlooking the surrounding Delta environment. Every tent features a large bedroom with either a double or twin bed configuration, using comfortable extra-length beds. The en-suite bathroom includes both an indoor and outdoor shower, allowing guests to enjoy the natural setting. Additional amenities include full solar electricity, standing and ceiling fans, yoga mats and hair dryers.
