Botos Lagoon is a crater lake located within Poás Volcano National Park in Alajuela Province, Costa Rica, where it is surrounded by cloud forest and volcanic terrain. Visitors can walk along a maintained trail to the lagoon, observe wildlife, take photographs, and explore the natural environment from designated viewpoints and rest areas. Swimming is not permitted in order to protect the ecosystem, and the area forms part of an important conservation zone.
