Food is given to ones during alms rounds and also ritually offered to tantric deities and hungry ghosts. Offering food is a meritorious act that also reminds us not to be greedy or selfish.
Today in many predominately Theravada countries like Thailand, monks still rely on receiving alms for most of their food. The monks leave the monasteries early in the morning. They walk single file, oldest first, carrying their alms bowls in front of them. Laypeople wait for them, sometimes kneeing and place food, flower or incense sticks in the bowls. Women must be careful not to touch the monks.
About food for monk, a monk is allowed to collect, receive and consume food between dawn and midday (taken before 12 noon). Not allow to consume food outside of this time and not allow to store food overnight. Plain water can be taken at any time without having to be offered.

The Vijitt Resort Phuket features over 150 rubber trees, a tree that is fast disappearing on Phuket in the interests of commercial tourism, however we do not only decided to keep our rubber trees but make them part of our environmental programme.
Rubber is main source of income for some of the villagers in the southern part of Thailand. Currently, there are still some rubber plantations in Phuket which can notice rows of rubber trees with their characteristic coconut shell collecting pot attached to each on or lots of what look like bath mats hanging up, that will be the sheets of rubber left out to dry.
The hermit exercise is exercise ancestral wisdom of Thailand, which has a long history. Also, it helps hermit exercise therapy including their health, but also helps prevent the introduction as well. the position of the hermit exercise that mimics gestures or movements of Thailand.
