The Makakatana Bay Lodge Full-day Hluhluwe-imfolozi Safari starts at the Makakatana Lodge by St. Lucia Lake in KwaZulu-Natal. You depart in the early morning and head to the famous Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Big Five game reserve, 75 minutes away. A hot coffee on arrival at the gates precedes the journey into the park. A brunch is served mid-morning. The adventure continues through the park, with experienced rangersseeking out the Big Five. You then return to the lodge for a light lunch around 2 pm, and an afternoon siesta or lounge by the pool.
