Langa Township is located in the Western Cape, South Africa and is approximately 13 km from Cape Town. The township was developed as part of South Africa's 1923 Urban Areas Act and was formally opened in 1927. It is considered the oldest township in Cape Town and served as a resistance to the apartheid government. The area is served by the Langa Railway Train Station and is bordered by the N2, the N7, and Jan Smuts Drive, making it easily accessible.
