Perry’s Bridge Reptile Park in Hazyview is one of the leading attractions in the Lowveld, and the premier reptile park in the country. Boasting a collection of almost 50 species of snakes (including the iconic black mamba) along with lizards, tortoises, crocodilians, spiders and frogs, we offer a great, value for money, add on for tours passing through or overnighting in Hazyview and surrounding areas.
Our specialty is “edu-tainment”, making us suitable for many market segments including “soft adventure”, “education”, ”wildlife” and “family” - regardless of whether you love reptiles as we do, or fear them, it seems that everyone is fascinated by them! Our facility is exceptionally clean, and our staff display dedication and passion for the animals in their care. We believe that our purpose is to bridge the gap that exists between people and reptiles by filling it with knowledge - and in doing so contribute to the long term conservation of these creatures.
We are located close to Numbi, Phabeni, and Paul Kruger access gates to Kruger National Park, meaning that otherwise fruitless afternoons spent at the hotel after exiting Kruger can be a thing of the past, as can clients trying to pass time in busy, faceless shopping centres while their guide and driver do the “household shopping”.
Our entry fee is low when compared with other attractions, and the time that you spend with us is flexible to suit your itinerary and your clientele. You can choose to include one of our show-times (at no extra cost), or take a self-guided tour through the facility. Our mobile site/app is available in reception to anyone with a QR reader on their internet enabled device and provides comprehensive information on all of the exhibits in a ‘guided tour’ format. Over time this will be expanded into other languages, and we invite your input as to which languages are most in demand for your particular client base. This also allows the guide to “be the expert” should they choose to join their pax in the park (at no charge of course). For tours including us as part of the itinerary rather than an optional extra we offer the opportunity for them to have a group photo taken with one of our pythons at no extra cost - fantastic memory of their trip to Mpumalanga!
