Catedral Metropolitana de São Paulo is located in Praça da Sé and is the main Catholic church in the city of São Paulo, Brazil. The Metropolitan Cathedral of St. Paul is regarded as the fourth-largest neo-Gothic church in the world, despite its having a Renaissance-style dome. The cathedral is the main temple of the parish of Our Lady of the Assumption of St. Paul, created on August 10, 1591. The cathedral is the tallest church in São Paulo, with two towers measuring 92 meters high and an enormous dome. It measures 111 meters long and 46 meters wide and can house 8,000 people.
