Dating back to the Edo period, Magome-juku will take visitors back in time as they stroll through the old postal town. The 43rd and 69th stations on the Nakasendō was once a prosperous town for many years. Tourists can enjoy a stroll through the town and take in the beauty of the buildings that have been restored and hike to the upper town and enjoy panoramic views of the hills to Mount Ena, including hiking to the next town past waterfalls and through forests. The town also features a variety of accommodation options and shops.
