Esirai Camp (South) is located near Naabi Hill on the southern plains of the Serengeti. The camp is in this location from December to the end of March. Accommodation consists of 8 mobile tents, each equipped with en suite bathrooms, hot bucket showers and safari toilets. The camp is situated on flat ground and is lit by solar power. Guests can enjoy dining in the large mess tent, grab a quick snack around the fire or unwind with a refreshing drink at the bar. Additional amenities include a library tent with a solar charging station. Shared game drives and transfers to the nearest airstrip are also available. The camp also offers a range of activities to suit all guests interests, such as game drives, bush dining, sundowners and hot air ballooning.
Days in camp draw to a close with a sundowner drink in hand, watching the setting sun, followed by a hearty dinner made by your private chef, and stories shared around the roaring campfire before retiring to the tent for a night’s sleep, to the lullaby of roaring lions.
Eight large en-suite tents comprise the camp, all with wide comfy beds. Interleading tents and triples for children are available on request. The camp has a spacious dining area with a bar, a separate and cozy lounge tent with a solar charging station, and solar lighting throughout. A home away from home in the middle of the bush.
The camp allows for the ultimate freedom and flexibility. The rhythm of each day is different. We can head out early unto the plains soaking up the energy of a new dawn. Climb to the top of a remote rocky outcrop for a privileged view of the short grass plains and enjoy a luxurious breakfast. The dedicated camp team will plan with you each day, offering all the possible flexibility to make sure that you achieve the best wildlife experiences.
