On this popular day-trip starting from Swakopmund, African Bush Bird Tours takes guests in a light aircraft over the Namib Desert, passing over some well-known landmarks, and landing at the Sesriem Canyon from where guests will be driven in a 4x4 vehicle to the highest shifting sand dunes in the world. Light refreshments will be served and guests have the opportunity to climb the dunes, take photographs, and admire the scenery after which they will be transported to Sossusvlei Lodge at Sesriem for lunch.

After lunch, the flight continues via Sossusvlei over the remains of three old diamond camps in the Diamond Restricted Area. Guests will also fly over colonies of Cape Fur seals, two shipwrecks along the coast, Sandwich Harbour, a wetland of international importance, and Namibia's coastal salt mines south of Walvis Bay. Finally, midway between Walvis Bay and Swakopmund, the flight passes over the Langstrand Holiday Resort and the Dolphin Park Recreation Resort on its way back to Swakopmund.
