Long term car parking can be found on the edge of the lake outside of the CBD opposite the skate park. (Make sure there are no shops opposite where car is parked). After a picnic lunch on the river bank* meet Ridgeline Adventures guides for a 4WD Landrover adventure travelling the private back roads of West Wanaka Station, a 30,000- acre deer farm steeped in history and bordering the majestic snow-capped peaks and glaciers of Mt Aspiring National Park. Get up close and personal with sheep, beef cattle, red deer and alpaca and enjoy a well-earned stop for refreshments at the exclusive "alpine cafe" high in the mountains, returning to Wanaka approx. 4.30pm * Note- during winter lunch will be taken during the tour at a suitable time and location during the day
