As New Zealand's oldest winery, Mission Estate has a longstanding reputation for producing award-winning, quality wines. The cellar has gone through a number of challenges including relocating, fires, earthquakes, expansion, and more recently the completion of the spectacular underground cellar. Now housed in the restored seminary building, the Mission cellar door offers the complete wine experience. All Mission wines are produced on site at the winery in Taradale, Napier.

Twice daily historic tours showcase the beauty of the historic seminary, outline the history of the Mission, and conclude with a tasting of selected Mission wines.
