How to get there: Follow the main road out of Motueka and through Riwaka. Then follow the signs to Kaiteriteri Beach. Car parking is provided here. What to bring: Your day bag, layers of warm clothing, wind proof jacket, shoes that are easily removable, swim wear & towel, your own water bottle, plenty of sun screen (SPF 30+ is best), sun hat, sun glasses and your camera! Start your day sailing from Kaiteriteri beach, along the coastline, passing Split Apple Rock. Take in the golden beaches and bays, islands and birdsong before arriving at Anchorage.
Around midday, abandon ship at Anchorage for a stunning freedom nature walk back to Marahau. Stroll along sandy beaches via picture-perfect lookouts and through native bush and the beautiful scenery the coastal track has to offer. Expected walk time between 3 - 4 hours.

This one day Cycle & Sail adventure takes in some of the most stunning scenery on Tasman’s Great Taste Trail, and the amazing experience of Sailing in Tasman Bay. Working in with Trail Journeys Nelson who supply the bicycle and cycle equipment to provide a great day out - a half day cycle, half day sail and chance to explore and dine at Mapua seaside village.
Mapua Seaside village is a vibrant hub of galleries, studios, restaurants, wine bars, cafes, shops and the Golden Bear Boutique Brewery. A Perfect destination for lunch while sampling the relaxed atmosphere and vibe.

Cruise on the water taxi to Anchorage Bay. Enjoy a 1.5 hour walk around the Pitt Head loop track with panoramic views over the Park, taking you to one of our favourite beaches at Te Pukatea Bay, and then back to Anchorage.
