Museo Del Fosil is situated near Villa de Leyva, Colombia. The museum is home to a 7-metre long fossilised Kronosaurus, which is a relative of the crocodile from the Cretaceous-period, and was discovered in 1977 by local farmers. The museum also features a collection of marine fossils that include skeletons of an Ichthyosaurs, prehistoric tubeworms, and ammonites.
