Tiskita Jungle Lodge, is an family run ecolodge that offers the opportunity to experience pristine tropical rainforest in its 800-acre private biological reserve as well as beautiful ocean views and access to the beach. Tiskita is about as remote as one can get, located at the end of the road on the secluded southwest coast of Costa Rica.
Rooms at the lodge range from standard rooms to deluxe Bungalows, each featuring a ceiling fan, lounge chairs, and a bathroom with hot water. The lodge has an open-air dining area with ceiling fans. Lodge amenities include a swimming pool, library, and several seated areas.
Bungalow King rooms are standalone cabins with a King size bed. Cabins are very private, have solar hot water, private bathrooms, private porch, ceiling fans and upgraded amenities. Agouti has an excellent ocean view and is a wooden cabin with a semi-outdoor bathroom. Jaguarundi is a tiled cabin, large room and partial ocean views, with an enclosed bathroom.
Bungalow Triple rooms are standalone cabins with a Queen size bed and a Twin (or 3 Twins). Cabins are very private, have solar hot water, private bathrooms, private porch, ceiling fans and upgraded amenities. Kinkajou is a large room, has an excellent ocean view and is a wooden cabin with a semi-outdoor bathroom. Titi has a large room, partial ocean views and of the Osa Peninsula, and has two bathrooms. Great for groups as well as couples or parents with one child.
Superior Cabins are multiple room cabins, with 3 or 4 rooms, with great ocean views. Each room has a private bathroom, ceiling fans, and they share a large porch with all other rooms in the cabin.
Superior Twins have two Twin beds and can add an additional Twin bed. Great for families with two older kids or friends.

Superior Queen is a smaller room in a 4-room cabin. It has Ocean views from inside the room and is great for couples or single travelers.

Black Iguana Superior Quad are two rooms in one cabin. Each room is large and has a Queen bed and two Twin beds and has private enclosed bathrooms. Both are wheelchair accessible.
The porch is large and has a great ocean and forest view.
Good for people with limited mobility as you can drive to it and there are no stairs or steps.

Guided rainforest walks in our 800-acre biological reserve with a certified naturalist guide. Explore Tiskita and get to know how the rainforest flora and fauna interact. For all levels and focused on what you are interested in be that birding, monkeys, plants or amphibians.
Get to know where chocolate comes from; the cacao plant. Tiskita is also an organic fruit farm and grows cacao. It also processes its own cacao to make true Tree-to-Bar chocolate. In the workshop guests can learn how chocolate is made from cacao and can make their own bars and bonbons.
Horseback riding tours are available at Tiskita. Tours are on-site, ride through the rainforest and around the biological reserve to a hill top view of the Golfo Dulce and the Osa Peninsula and finish the ride by galloping on the almost-deserted beach at sunset.
Surf lessons are available in famous surf break of Pavones or in front of the lodge at the Punta Banco break. All levels, closes are private and catered to your ability.
Leaving from Pavones, hop on this boat tour of the Golfo Dulce. Enjoy dolphin watching, snorkeling, and possible whale watching (depending on season). Lunch on the Osa Peninsula is included.

Tiskita has an on site large yoga deck. Enjoy a relaxing yoga class while listening to the sounds of the rainforest and the surf below. All levels welcome. You can also enjoy the deck and practice by yourself. Mats, bolsters and blocks available.
