Masmak Fort is located in the centre of the old quarters of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The building was built around 1865 using clay and mud-brick. It has four watchtowers and thick walls, founded on stone blocks. The fort has played a major role in the kingdom's history and is part of the King Abdulaziz Historical Centre, a series of restored buildings in Riyadh. The museum includes the display of many antique guns, costumes and agriculture artefacts.
