Chula Island Camp combines the intimacy of a true seasonal bush camp with a level of comfort that makes it very easy to settle in. With just five guest tents and a maximum of ten guests, the atmosphere is relaxed, personal and closely connected to the river and surrounding wilderness.

Each tent has been carefully positioned to make the most of the views across the Zambezi. They are spacious, thoughtfully designed and very comfortable, with quality linen and mattresses, flushing toilets, running water and traditional bucket showers that keep the authentic bush-camp feel.

The main area sits beneath huge Natal mahogany trees, where a stretch-canvas tent creates a natural gathering place for meals, reading, charging cameras or simply watching the wildlife and river activity around camp. It is an understated and beautifully located camp, where the setting does most of the talking.
