Sweetwaters Game Reserve, located within the Ol Pejeta Conservancy in Kenya, spans 24,000 acres between the Aberdares and Mount Kenya. It is home to diverse wildlife, including the Big Five, Grevy's zebra, and cheetah, alongside 40 chimpanzees at its sanctuary for rescued orphans. Other attractions include Morani, a resident rhino, and scenic open plains. Activities range from self-guided drives to birdwatching, with over 300 species observed. Visitors can enjoy a 30-minute boat ride (weather permitting) and explore the sanctuary, which aims to rehabilitate chimps in naturalistic conditions. The reserve also supports endangered black and white rhinos, making it a vital conservation area.
