Activities here are centred on game drives and boating safaris along the famous Chobe River.

Another benefit of this area is that you will be able to enjoy night drives and walking safaris, which are not possible in the national park. A word of caution, though: the boating safaris can only be done as part of a full day activity, which some find a little tiring, but it is well worth it in our opinion! Chobe National Park is famed for having the largest elephant population on Earth, with giraffe, zebra, buffalo, hippo and crocodile also not in short supply! Other star attractions are the incredible birdlife and some very rare antelope species. From time to time you may even be lucky enough to spot lion, leopard, hyena and wild dog.
