Pisac is located 33 kilometers from the city of Cusco, Peru. The Archaeological Park of Pisa is one of the largest in the Sacred Valley of the Incas. It is located east of the Cordillera de Vilcabamba. The site consists of groups of archeological remains with terraces, aqueducts, paths that are associated with walls and gates, water channels, cemeteries, bridges, and such. It covers and area of 4 square kilometers and is one of the few archaeological zones with two open tunnels cut into the hills, one which heads north for 15 meters and another 3-meter tunnel that leads to the summit.
