Sunrise will see you enter the gates of the Namib Naukluft National Park. With your expert guide, you drive through an open valley between towering red dunes for 65 km, and take in and photograph the striking scenic beauty as the light throws shadows off the ridges of the dunes. There will be a chance to walk to Deadvlei, where camel thorn tree trunks pose dramatically on a bleached clay pan. Perhaps climb a dune, and for the more adventurous, conquer ‘Big Daddy’. If time permits, you stop at Sesriem Canyon, shaped by The Tsauchab River over millions of years, and is one of the few places in the area that holds water all year round.
