Each Chobe Princess Safariboat has 4 double/twin en-suite luxury cabins (tastefully fitted with a modern shower, toilet and hand basin) with large sliding windows with mosquito screens, opening onto the water.
No trip to the Chobe is complete without trying your hand at fishing for Tiger. One of the most sought after sport fish, the tiger fish offers anglers the opportunity to land a great fighting fish and to get bragging rights for those who manage to land a 8 pounder or more. Ichingo Chobe River Lodge is especially suited for fishing with our large fleet of tender boats, incredibley knowledgeable guides and access to over 100kms of water, including the Zambezi River, the Chobe River and the Kasai Channel.
A jet boat also allows clients access to the Chobe rapids, some of the most exciting fishing waters in the area. We offer both conventional equipment as well as flyfishing equipment and all equipment is included in our rate. Both Ichingo Chobe River Lodge and the Chobe Princess Safariboats are in the heart of the Chobe region with access to the river frontage of the Chobe National Park. Ichingo Chobe River Lodge offers game viewing excursions by tender boat into the Park, allowing guests to experience the enormous diversity and concentration of wildlife up close and personal.
Staying on board the Chobe Princess Safariboats is like being on a permanent game viewing vehicle as our docking sites are all situated overlooking some of the prime game viewing areas. Huge herds of elephant can be seen all year round, often swimming across the river in front of our houseboats, to get to the lush Caprivi grasslands. Buffalo, lion, lechwe, puku, giraffe, zebra, sable, kudu and leopard are all frequently seen in this area promising guests who stay with us and unforgettable wildlife experience.
