Established in 1988, the Narukawa Art Museum on the banks of Lake Ashi in Hakone is a privately-owned museum. Visitors to the museum can walk through the museum which features a collection of over 200 pieces of art by Kyujin Yamamoto and masterpieces of Japanese-style paintings collected over the course of 20 years. The museum also features temporary and permanent exhibits in which art lovers can immerse themselves in the beauty surrounding them. Facilities at the museum include a lounge overlooking the lake, a beautiful garden, a café and a gift shop. The museum is open daily from 09:00 till 17:00.
