The Togetsukyo Bridge has been a landmark in Western Kyoto for over 400 years.
The wooden bridge stretches across the Katsura River, in front of Arashiyama Mountain, featuring picturesque scenic views.
It has been featured in many historical films, and is a popular place for visitors to feed koi fish in the river, or watch seabirds fish in the summer time.

Top Tips: Get to Arashiyama early in the morning if possible. This is a nice place to pause, take in the views and connect with nature. It's a nice place to have a take away lunch and listen to the sound of the running water with views of the mountains in the background.
