Located in the town of Hakone, the Hakone Shrine, also known as the Hakone Gongen, is a Japanese Shinto shrine situated on the shores of Lake Ashi at the foot of Mount Hakone.

Hidden in the surrounding dense forest are buildings featuring large torii gates, which stand prominently in the lake and over the main street of Moto-Hakone.

The shrine has a small museum where guests can view various treasures, including some classified as Important Cultural Properties.
