Kazue-machi is a historic Geisha district located along the river between Asanogawa Ohashi Bridge and Naka-no Hashi Bridge and is one of the three Geisha districts of Kanazawa.

Still today, many chaya houses (traditional tea houses where Geisha entertain) and restaurants are located in this neighborhood, and you may hear the sound of the shamisen coming from them in the early evening.

It's a neighbourhood full of historic ambience, with sights such as Asanogawa Ohashi Bridge, rows of chaya houses, Naka-no Hashi Bridge, and Kuragarizaka, which connects to the Owari-cho hill area.

The rows teahouses have been designated as historic cultural assets since 2008.
