Toshodaiji Temple is located on the outskirts of Nara in Japan. The temple was established in 759 by Ganjin, who was a Chinese priest of the Tang dynasty. It is known today as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Numerous small paths lead to buildings visitors can explore and these include the Golden Hall, Korō, Kyōzō, Shinden, Nandaimon and more. Visitors can also view a wooden statue and the grave of Ganjin. The temple is open to visitors daily from 08:30 to 17:00.
