Nara National Museum is located in Nara Park, Japan. The museum was established in 1889 and it has been kept intact with its original architecture.

The building is comprised of the main hall and two wings which exhibit Japanese Buddhist art. Items visitors will be able to see include Buddha statues, scrolls, ceremonial objects, paintings, as well as treasures from the Todaiji Temple.

The museum is open to visitors Tuesday through Sunday from 09:00 to 17:00.
