Daigoji Temple is a Buddhist temple in Kyoto and is regarded as a national treasure.

The complex has three sections including the Sambo-in, Shimo-Daigo, and Kami-Daigo. The temple features a five-storied pagoda built in 951, the Juntei hall, which is well known as the eleventh place of the pilgrimage in the Western part of Japan.

It also features the Godai hall which is the centre of the Godai-san faith and a range of beautiful wall paintings which have attracted multiple awards.

The temple grounds feature beautifully landscaped gardens, maple trees, and cherry blossoms.
